Investigation of the AFAI index available online here: https://optics.marine.usf.edu. Aim is to extract relevant informations from KML files into netcdf file. I tried a quick conversion using an online tool called "https://mygeodata.cloud". I extracted the raster information and obtained a netcdf file with 4 variables inside (Band1, Band2, Band3 and Band4). Band 1 variable looks like this :
