the phrase was meant, "0's disappear when processed in a SUB chip, and then they are no longer a threat".
I'll try to clarify this a bit. However, the intro text for level 4 states that "Any attacker that gets through to the CPU will cost one life, regardless of its number. You must have at least one SUB chip to get rid of them. ". I thought that was clear enough ...
Well, I'd figured it out by level 4. The problem is the levels before that, as the initial text is at the start of the game.
Level 1 states that "0's disappear and are no longer a threat." This caused some confusion when first learning the game and made me have to restart the level a few times and leading to frustration when 00's were getting through and damaging the core. Since 00=0 and 0's are stated to not be a threat, this didn't/doesn't make sense. It should be reworded to clarify that any number, even a 0, is a threat, and that a chip can act on a number more than once (as that wasn't clear for the first several levels and I thought not only that each chip acted only once on each attacker, but that it would act on all attackers, as it wasn't made clear until farther along that it could miss some due to attack speed) and may need to do so to bring it down to a 0 (or 00) and then destroy it.
