Since a few days ago, I've been looking around and found a few other options. I wonder if it would make more sense to officially deprecate this plugin and archive the repo than to hand it off. I found:

This SO question about hacking Brunch's own asset processing
copyfilemon-brunch, which acknowledges this project as an inspiration
copycat-brunch, which lists both this and copyfilemon-brunch as inspirations!

What do you think?

Sounds good to me! Then I officially withdraw my application to be maintainer ;) . Thanks for writing this plugin in the first place!
