Media Reader Crashes #23

Problem:
ABox crashing when using the Media Reader mode of the File Object
has been reported.

Recomend:

*Little is known about this problem -- more information is required.

*ABox makes use of DirectShow FilterGraph technology to render
 media streams. It is known that some third party filter packages are
 unstable -- most notably the one that starts with K and ends in
 'lite'. It may be necessary for the user to uninstall the offending
 filter package. Alternately, ABox developers working together with
 the filter developers to find a solution.
*Previous ABox bug hunts discovered that some filters either do not
 honor returns values from ABox, or, return incorrect values
 themselves. Further instances of this behavior should be discovered
 and fixed in the ABox source code.

Revision 18 has been reported to have fixed at least one failure.
More reports from users are needed in order to close this issue.
