Final CJS release containing API updates

Before the change?

Had outdated endpoints due to the transition to ESM ongoing

After the change?

Updates to special releases that contain endpoint updates for CJS users

If this release included breaking changes, does it make sense that it went out as a patch version bump?

It's the final CJS version, it is only a maintenance release. It was only to bring it up to date. The next major version is already in the works #413
