We need some! And also maybe performance rules/metrics? Not sure.

I'd suggest a structure like so:

  1. Principles.
  2. Guidelines/rules.
  3. Metrics & how-tos.

Happy to collaborate/help, but these will probably be @tofumatt-driven for what I hope are obvious reasons.
