2 weeks ago I believe I've seen some deprecated code relating to write / read files permissions, so that may be what is happening here. As far as where they are stored, I don't know yet! haven't had a chance to go digging through the backup codebase yet. will come back here when I find something, tho.
How can I back up custom contact colors, group conversation titles, which messages are archived, etc.? I don't see an option in Quik. Alternately where are these settings stored? With the default options in my preferred root backup app (see screenshot) these don't get saved either.
