Hello, Same here. Android 12 Version 4.0.4

Hi, I have the exact same issue. My mobile data are always off to save on battery life, so when a SMS arrives, QUIK asks me to enable mobile data, but the MMS is NEVER received. I have to switch back to Samsung Messages to receive the MMS, then switch back to QUIK.

This is a serious "game" breaking bug right here. I need to ditch the Samsung Message app because it's bloated and slow as f***, QUIK seems to be the only viable alternative, and this massive critical bug prevents me from fully switching.

This bug should be treated as a priority and fixed ASAP.

Thank you.

then, expected behavior:

show "not downloaded" mms, with "tap to download" interaction?

@octoshrimpy Yes. You can sée the correct behavior in the Los messaging app.

I started to search in the Los app. I think this is where the MMS is downloaded again https://github.com/LineageOS/android_packages_apps_Messaging/blob/lineage-21.0/src%2Fcom%2Fandroid%2Fmessaging%2Fdatamodel%2Faction%2FRedownloadMmsAction.java
