Select All and Remove Dupes #53

First, thank you for picking up the project. There aren't many good FOSS SMS apps out there, so your effort is very appreciated.

I have a few questions/suggestions/bug reports from QKSMS that I thought I should put together to get your take on them, then I can make individual issues for each one, if you don't mind:

  1. Why is the released APK debuggable? Is it stable enough to use?
  2. In QKSMS, I once reimported a backup without emptying the database and it created duplicates of most of my messages. Can QUIK provide a way to delete duplicates (same content and timestamp) from the database? And ideally going forward, don't import a message if an identical one exists.
  3. Select all conversations. QKSMS doesn't provide a way to do that. I had to download another SMS app to be able to select all and clear the database.
  4. Action by pattern. For example delete all messages from any sender that contain the text: "Join and win!" I have thousands of these type of messages and QKSMS search doesn't allow selecting these message in bulk.

  2. I'll definitely look into it!
  3. I agree this would be nice.
  4. I think the OS would still notify you of those, but I'll have to check.
