Please try to find the way to allow scrolling horizontally the DT tables.
I have made ccsig a book chapter sensu stricto. It was dead easy. If ccsig could be a .html, then there is no reason why it could not be made a chapter of the coralbook. If you are curious, note the commits since last release to see what changed.
I will work on #12.
At this stage I think you should not worry to make the tables look pretty. Just allow the user to see all the info available. Maybe try knitr::kable() instead of DT tables. It may not look as pretty but may work. knitr::kable() was the first table-maker that the bookdown incorporated, because the developer of knitr and bookdown is the same person. At this stage, I think you should not worry about making it pretty or perfect. Remember this is a draft. We need to get all first, then to make it better.
