I've currently proposed the diagram be included in the main README.md however we can hold off putting it there for now and just check in the actual diagram image and source, just let me know.
Please let me know if you have any ideas to tweak the diagram.
This is based on the current whiteboard diagram in in the Sydney office edge lab.
The diagram is created as code using graphviz dot notation.
