[16.0] No Edit Button - how to disable or force user to save or discard? #104121

Impacted versions: 16

Steps to reproduce:

Open product list
Open product
Change product details
Click on the products list in the bread crumbs.

Current behavior: The changes that were made to the product was saved without question

Expected behavior: Our users are very simple and would not even realize that they have changed stuff. Is there a way to force a choice between save/discard before navigating to another screen?

Or even disable "no edit button" mode?

This "auto save" was new functionality in v15. It's too easy for users to make changes without realising it. There is a similar app available for v15. https://apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/15.0/disable_form_quick_edit/
