migrate data governance repository content #73

Open davidradl opened 3 years ago

davidradl commented 3 years ago

We have moved the webinar content from the data governance repository. We still point to workshops and presentations into the data governance site from the current repository. I suggest moving this content from the data governance site here. Also we agreed in a community meeting that the governance principles fro the data governance git repo should be moved into this repository, as they then would be searchable with the rest if the content.

@davidradl You can assign this to me (@adinhtdsibm) and provide previous egeria docs content so that I can move here to right place and edit if required.

@davidradl Do let me know the content migration from old repo, so that I can work this task.

Thank you for the offer of help

The governance material is here: https://opengovernance.odpi.org/ The source content is here: https://github.com/odpi/data-governance/tree/master/docs

We discussed this on the community call and agreed it would go in a new top-level menu in the egeria-docs site called "Principles". Do you know how to set that up in the mkdocs.yml. I can help you if needed.

adinhtdsibm commented 3 years ago

Sure. Let me check and update you. I am aware of the setup and in any doubt will ping you. Thank you.

@mandy-chessell Verified all the links and I would feel if you can create the structure in mkdocs.yml file and then I will copy the content and validate it accordingly. I don't want to mess up the structure in the yml file as Data Governance has lot of content inside it. Please do let me know your thoughts on this.
