Just, I have added a simple change in main view and SheetSplitter. Now you can use mouse wheel to set zoom.

Cool :) But mouse wheel useful for scrolling too. My opinion - zoom by whhel only when ctrl key pressed. As result:

wheel - vertical scrolling wheel + shift - horizantal scrolling wheel + ctrl - zoom
