Currently, mpdecimal / libmpdec(-dev) is missing from the latest Ubuntu repo, which means that the build for php-decimal fails (https://launchpad.net/~ondrej/+archive/ubuntu/php/+build/28141360).

Describe the solution you'd like

For Debian mpdecimal / libmpdec(-dev) have been added to the PPA to ensure the builds for php-decimal complete and can be installed on the target systems. I would love to see a similar solution for Ubuntu.

Describe alternatives you've considered The alternative is to build libmpdec from source on the installation target and install the decimal extension using pecl.

Yeah, I’ll probably have to add the mpdec to the repository.
