A couple of months back I set up znapzend, and it has happily chugged along. Yesterday the pool was suddenly full.
Listing the snapshots shows znapzend correctly deletes snapshots for 2 out of 3 jobs. The 3rd job has hourly snapshots going back months.
Config for the 3rd job is this:
*** backup plan: rpool/data/vm-105-disk-0 ***
dst_0 = root@192.168.10.105:tank/vmbackups/vm-105-disk-0
dst_0_plan = 1week=>1day,1month=>1week,3months=>1month
enabled = on
mbuffer = off
mbuffer_size = 1G
post_znap_cmd = off
pre_znap_cmd = off
recursive = off
src = rpool/data/vm-105-disk-0
src_plan = 1day=>1hour,1week=>1day,1month=>1week,3months=>1month
tsformat = %Y-%m-%d-%H%M%S
zend_delay = 0
normally the cause of this is that something in the backup process is failing if this happens znapzend does not remove local snapshots ... check the logs
