Enhancement: Adding categories to favorite list

Hi,

adding categories to the favorite list would be very suitable for receiving 
entries for specific interests.

This feature is especially interesting for users that work with TV Media 
Libraries (German: Mediatheken)

Most series and shows have their own category, so it would be possible the 
create an entry in the favorite list that jumps to the desired series. For 
example "Lindenstraße" or "Tatort".

Is there a possibilty to implement a feature like that?
