hostapd-wpe: No such file or directory #1210

Device: Motorola Nexus 6

OS version (KitKat/Lollipop/Marshmallow/Nougat): Marshmallow

Built from repo (date and build command) or downloaded from website (links): Nightly build 2017.11-18-1618

Output of cat /proc/version in adb shell or NetHunter Terminal: Linux version 3.10.40-g819dc6 (root@hn-buildbox) (gcc version 4.7 (GCC) #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Sep 23 23:12:26 UTC 2016

Issue: Hi. When you start the application through hostapd-wpe Nethunter, it does not start its work. Bash error: /usr/bin/hostapd-wpe: No such file or directories. I even installed it apt-get install hostapd-wpe. but no results. Help me. It is installed in my kali-armhf/etc/hostapd-wpe

Оке, I found this. File weighs a lot... 0_o No torrent links ? 1) Well, but what will she give me for my Nexus 6 ? 2) Will it kill my phone ? 3) Install .zip TWRP ? 4) This will give correct operation Kali Nethunter ?

  1. Yes it is the same generic kalifs full installer without kernel. Every instruction should be the same as before. 1 year older than the 2017.11. Your kernel should remain the same as you mentioned

Did you install generic kalifs minimal or full from Nightly build 2017.11-18-1618 folder? Full is about 1GB so I guess you used minimal

No minimal. My Nightly build: "nethunter-generic-armhf-kalifs-full-rolling-2017.11-18-1618" I prefer full. I can not download your archive, because of my Internet speed, or region...

Thank you Bro. Tell me you have a Nexus 6 ? 1) I need to do a Wipe sections in TWRP, and what ? 2) SuperSU is in your archive, I already have SuperSu. Or do I need to install your SuperSU ? 3) What feature in your assembly, tell, What is changed ? 4) Does the keyboard attack work ? 5) Works wifi Injection attack ?

Ur welcome. Mine is OnePlus1

  1. Only remove chroot in nethunter app, then uninstall app and nethunter terminal.
  2. You can overwrite SuperSu
  3. Just a latest build (my dbus service became extra slow after 2017.11 + apt-get upgrade)
  4. If you install the kernel you did already

Sorry, another question: 1) Will BusyBox.apk 67 Pro, fit or install BusyBox.zip 1.29.2-YDS ? 2) Can I leave my SupeSu ?

As long as I know, busybox will be v1.25 nethunter. So I never used any different apk. Yes you can leave SuperSu installed

If I install the latter for Nexus 6 Android 7.1.1, will your build work correctly, kernel-nethunter-shamu-nougat-2017.11-18-1618 ?

Yes that "old" kernel should work fine if it worked already
