Hi, my question is if is my device Nexus 6p with android 8.1.0 Oreo compatible with some version of Nethunter. I tried installation from https://build.nethunter.com/nightly/2017.11-18-1618/, but it didn't work and my device started to restarting in a loop. I'm so glad I've made a backup. Can you please give me some instructions how to install Nethunter on my device?

Also install kernel for hid, injection compatibility. If you can't find any, build one like I suggested in my long comment here https://github.com/offensive-security/kali-nethunter/issues/1212
Thank you, I did it!

Hello amzker,
I hope you can help or know about this. I will be getting a new phone later this year. I just wish to ask if Nethunter installation can work or is compatible with any android device where the version is 8 or higher? Or is it usable only in older devices? For the record, i am in an android hacking course in udemy where my instructor isn't certain as the github link https://github.com/offensive-security/kali-nethunter/wiki doesn't seem to list any other devices besides the older android versions. I have no other help resources and hope you can reply. The information I find in another post scares me. The person used Android 8 on Samsung and it refuses to work.
Oooppps 😜, Yes nethunter compatible With 8 And in my androir (9.0 ) also working Ok no problem ,
See You wanted to install Nethunter . For preventing From boot loop best way Don't flash just install chroot
Step1:) Download Nethunter Zip file
Step2:) Extract it
Step3:) Ahh long time ago so i forget path . See in local folder ,you may find Apks
Step4:) Install All Apk
Step5:) Copy all scripts From Zip to your /system/xbin (including busybox)
Step6:) open previous installed nethunter app (installed from apk)
Step7:) close it & again open and close it [THIS IS NOT NON-SENSE BUT NEED TO ACCESS SOME LIBS THAT' ONLY HAPPENED THIS WAY]
Step8:) Again Go to extracted Zip & copy kalifs file inyo Your internal storage
Step9:) Rename that file and set like `kalifs-full.extension (i forget currently extantion)
Step10:) Open nethunter app and go to chroot part & select install from sdcard 👍

Hello, Thank you for the reply. But I still wish to ask if it's worth trying on devices with only 4gb rom? Note that this doesn't calculate android system files yet. Or do you think it's too slow? I wish to point that i recently saw another person using huawei Oreao - 8.0 post a comment stating that only basic installation and hack work. Something called HID attack doesn't work. (I can't find the post so maybe it's removed). So are you saying no need to root (flash) the device? Or do i still need to test try to be certain? So android 9 also should work right? No need to root device either right? Do reply.
