Excited about this, especially the addition of the marlin kernel. Thanks for your great work. Few questions to help us understand the status better:

... I'm lame at formating this... Git markup. Most the time I'm quiet else I sound like this reply looks on githib. Apologies I'm just a garage tinkerer. Learning my way around kernel development one error at a time.

Please don't commit them yet, I havent been able to get HID KB gadget working for Marlin yet.
Had to take a break from Marlin before I burnt out on it.
Returned to N7 Flo and had better luck at patching HID. I'm not sure if I'm neglecting other patches.
Carl, Mac802, and HID are the only required patches I know of.

There is no workflow for QA. IE: verify Bluetooth by testing ubertoothone Verify ath9k by testing external Tplink

Biggest difficulty is interpreting kernel build errors . knowing when a bool needs to be int and vice versa.

I'm also hella Baby Huey when it comes to Git.

What I'll do is create a git of the Nexus 7 Flo kernel that I am using . Along with it I'll provide the Nethunter-Installer build of the kernel (python build -d flo --pie -k).

Then I'll organise the device folder. Guess I'll call it 'flor' for Flo RRemix. I'm kind of tempted to demote binkys flo kernel to something like flo-k or flo-l since most people will want the newer builds and it gets confusing with all the different kernels.

If you can point me towards a boiler plate type instructional so that I am not stepping on toes or embarrassing myself would be great.

I'll go back to Marlin once I am confident with Flo. Maybe I can bounce some kernel issues off you?

You are a legend man. Your RPI builds are awesome. Especially Pi Tail. Awesome utilization of the device.

  • do you have an updated "kernels.txt" with the links to your kernel reps?
  • what's the patch status of each kernel, e.g. do they have the HID, injections, CD-ROM, etc. patches applied?
  • what are the particular features of those different flo kernels
  • What is the status of this pull request? Is it ready to be merged or are there more commits in the works?
