[Feature Request]: Open to using a database? #1222

Question:

Where does the group stand on use of a database instead of saving to arma vars?

I'm poking through & setup extdb3 already with arma3 - but only been saving arma3 vanilla information to the SQL database.

I have poked through the functions library and think I could slowly start writing adapters for simple stuff like player stats. Then eventually cover all the states for the map & mission.

This enhancement of the DB will require discussion within the Dev team. It would definitely be an improvement to the current stuffing of bloated vars files. However, it is not be top priority as there are other noticeable issues ingame.
