MongoDB free monitoring is deprecated #1632

Free monitoring will be deprecated in April 2023 and decommissioned in August 2023. Deployments currently using free monitoring can continue to access the free monitoring UI until August 2023. https://www.mongodb.com/docs/manual/administration/free-monitoring/

This can be closed. Free monitoring is long gone.

Maybe let's keep it open. Having no monitoring is actually a bit of a pity.

I recently looked into options: https://geekflare.com/self-hosted-server-monitoring/ Played locally with something like glances. It definitely can capture a lot, but to get a nice dashboard with time series one needs additional tools like grafana / influxdb.

Probably not the highest prio..
