Debugger disconnecting #7

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Debugging an application

Ubuntu 8.04 eclipse 3.4

About 50% of the time the debugger disconnects once my app is up and running.

BTW a huge thanks for creating this project.

Same problem with debugger : always disconnecting even before the app is up and
running.
ubuntu 9.10, eclipse 3.5 (and eclipse 3.4.2 too).

OOps, I should have posted in issue 6 since the app gets terminated before
being
launched at all, not even after a few seconds.

Happens on 32bit as well as 64bit versions of fully updated Ubuntu 10.04 and
eclipse 3.5.2.

Debugger disconnects because of bug in flash player 10.1, I have seen a bug
report anywhere

workaround: downgrade to flash player 10.0.*

I am on 10.0.45.2 and the debugger still randomly disconnects. 10.1 player just
does it more often.

fb4linux flash debugging mode is not concerned and works great !
This is flash player for linux that fails so hard !
To debug correctly your app, you have to use Windows with a flash debug version.
(Remote debug on a different machine or in a virtual machine)

definitely, this is the solution ! thx tfis
tutorial here :
http://www.jeffryhouser.com/index.cfm/2007/12/4/Connecting-Flex-3-to-a-running-D
ebugger-session

I use a virtualbox with wXP and a flashplayer debug.
