Now that I have a few months’ billing gone by I should update my rough estimates with actual values. Of course, reality has proven to be more expensive, and I should cut back some services for the near future.

misc this month was data transfer. Note that web servers, as always, refers both to the S3 server instances and the load balancer to route traffic.

Elasticache continues to be a heavy cost compared to the other items, probably because it is not allowed any downtime.

Migrating to dreamhost, currently with shared (not dedicated) resources and no cache server.

• [ ] determine whether I can now remove the DNS hosted zone from route 53 now that I’m using dreamhost name servers

As of #115 I pay 470 USD for the 3 year plan starting 2024-02-24 and ending 2027-02-24. This is equivalent to ~ 14 USD/mo.
