I think the site should have at least 10 textiles published of varying difficulty before launching.

Bonus textiles

4: The background is covered in different patterns (polka dots, plaid, horizontal lines, etc), where different patterns correspond to shapes.

5: The background is covered in lots of drawn things, and the shapes fall between them. Each shape is made up of multiple things around it.

6: The background text describes different scenarios that textiles can follow (overlap, separate, words versus pictures, correlation, pun, etc).

7: the background is a scene without outlines, and the shapes are the outlines.

8: The background shows an empty region with no divisions inside which the shapes need to fit without overlapping.

9: Shapes denote things that need to be found, like "I spy" or "Where's Waldo", and need to be placed over those things.

4: I selected a painting whose scene I traced and converted into the patterned text layer. Currently working on the shapes layer.

4: Soap Bubbles is now mostly complete and published as an admin release. It could use a description fragment before public release.

EDIT: Soap Bubbles is now complete and available under public release.

10: Selected page 1 from Absurd ABC by Walter Crane as content for the background layer. Currently tracing the text, and will create shapes for the silhouettes next.

EDIT: Absurd ABC is now complete and available.

8: Starface is Tony Montana’s face inside a broken star, and is complete and available.

11: If The Book Doesn’t Sell is the middle verses taken from Ritt Momney’s song “(If) The Book Doesn’t Sell”, used for the text layer, placed inside of larger block-lettered text in the shapes layer. Finished designing the shapes and text last night, am now putting the metadata and SQL together for the database.

EDIT: If The Book Doesn’t Sell is now complete and available.

6: The background text describes different scenarios that textiles can follow (overlap, separate, words versus pictures, correlation, pun, etc).

6: Rules of the Road will have an outdoor scene with some roads, signs, and scenery to serve as an environment for the different textile scenarios illustrated:

EDIT 1: finished drawing the text and shape layers physically, will digitize and prep for database soon.

EDIT 2: Rules of the Road is complete and public!

9: Shapes denote things that need to be found, like "I spy" or "Where's Waldo", and need to be placed over those things.

Little Crowd is complete and available. It's a crowd if people like those in a where's Waldo (Wally) puzzle, but there are many items to find.

Life Time shows the time 12:42 (or 0:42) on an analog clock face. There are a bunch of doodles to obscure it, but four cardinal numbers and the hands on the clock are made up of negative space. I finished designing the text and shapes, and am now creating the SQL puzzles insert, description works insert, fragments insert, and contributions insert.

EDIT: Life Time is now complete and available!
