zoom-client shortcut #66

Hi, first time here, thank you for your effort really, as a new to linux my question is about is there any change to get a shortcut on desktop or dock in elementary os ?

elementary os doesn't support adding shortcuts on the desktop. For the dock I'm not sure. That's something specific to how elementary os works, maybe when you have discord open right click on the icon?

Check in /usr/share/applications/ for zoom-client_zoom-client.desktop file. If it's not there then copy the .desktop file from /var/lib/snapd/desktop/applications/ to /usr/share/applications/ sudo cp /var/lib/snapd/desktop/applications/zoom-client_zoom-client.desktop /usr/share/applications/

@fatmucu could you solve your problem ? it seems there is not much i can do from a packaging perspective here. it looks like a desktop specific issue of elemantary (if you see this with other snaps too, you should probably start a topic on https://forum.snapcraft.io (in the snapd category)).
