What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. letting notepad++ remember the enable setting
2.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.0 on windows 7

Config file is being stored in program files folder.

Workaround:
Run Notepad++ as admin and set your preferred settings.
