Doesn't the emulator work? Anyhow, if I google for this topic I find a now deleted mod (created by "Games4RB" and uploaded by "Mahdi2401"). From the cache I could find this image: You could try this hex edit.

It doesn't work, I talked to the creator and he told me this:

Ok, so right.. The game has an actual check (cpuid I assume) for the feature, it doesn't just "blindly" crash. So this means that you first have to patch that, and only then you can worry about the actual instructions. Did you try the hex mod, plus popcnt_emulator? Otherwise the only other way is a virtual machine to spoof the check.
