on kubuntu 20.04 i've installed stacer, it starts at every login even if "autostart" option is disabled (I suppose it works on gnome)

is that installed with the official package? dpkg -l stacer says ii?

Hi, Sorry to dig out this old issue, but I have the same problem with an official package on Manjaro KDE (it is version 1.1.0-1.2 in my case). Stacer just always starts up on login, even though the autostart function is disabled (and there's no autostart entry for stacer, either in home/.config/.autostart, or in home/.config/autostart-scripts).

I don't know, where else to look for it... :( However, I was able to get around the problem by uninstalling the official package, and installing the "stacer-bin" package from AUR (current version, when I write this, is 1.1.0-3). That fixed it. I just can't say, if it's because of the different stacer version, or if the AUR package does something differently from the official package.

BTW, one additional hint I noticed, when I was experiencing the problem: My latte-dock didn't even started, until I closed the stacer window. Like if stacer blocks the rest of the KDE initialization, until it is closed. Only then, the rest of the desktop showed up (with the stacer icon in the system tray)

Hope it helps (and thanks to the autors for this amazing piece of software)
