Chinese Open Science Network (COSN)- Summer Hackathon 2022
Short description and the goals for the OHBM BrainHack
COSN Summer Hackathon 2022 focuses on one fundamental issue that has persisted in the brain and psychological sciences: statistical power. In a 2-day hackathon, we expect to host around 90 online participants with two traintracks on “statistical power and sample size planning”, two talks on “reproducibility, statistical power, and sample size”, and projects to bridge the theoretical and practical aspects of power analysis. Additionally, we provide coffee, ordered online by participants that is paid by our sponsor, on the second morning to spice up the participation. We are using Mandarin to make the hackathon more accessible to Chinese ECRs (except for the session in which we have international speakers). COSN Summer Hackathon 2022: May the Power be with you
In the 2-day hackathon, we discuss statistical power & N in brain research and related projects! Hackathon is still new to many Chinese ECRs, let’s make it popular!
