Check if your agent can connect to the BWHF database and download the hacker
list. The
agent manages a local cache of the hacker list. You can check this on the
player
checker tab.
BWHF Agent only alerts for hackers that have been previously reported.
If you want a key to report hackers, fill out the application form.

I already tried that.
I think your program does not work pre-game. I've played many games where
there are
hackers, and the program says, "Ccccclean!" or "clean!"
It never tells me it has a hacker pre-game.

Post-game, I hear the hacker, and then look on the bwhf list, and they've
already been
reported many many times.
Something is wrong here.

It works for me and many-many others.
Try this: create a custom list, add your name (gateway, username), and see if it
alerts
for you in the lobby.

What OS are you using? I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate.
I tried creating my own with my name in it and successfully loaded it.
However, it
says clean. I'm running it via cmd.
I will update this again as I keep trying doing things. It is not working!
How did you code this? Do you require access elevation in order to run
properly?

I just tried disabling UAC. Still says, "clean clean!" or sometimes just
"clean! or
"ccclean!"
I'll keep updating.

This is what it does for example:
2009-10-02 01:48:30 - Game lobby screenshot detected, proceeding to check...
2009-10-02 01:48:30 - Recognized player names in game lobby: <my bnet name>
2009-10-02 01:48:31 - Player check finished.
even if there is a hacker, it says clean, and never says hacker.

This is just ridiculous.
Even after unchecking the "clean" feature, it still says clean.
Something is wrong man.

Ok, so now I've tried unchecking the "delete game lobby shots".
I don't see where they are saved. I checked in the bwhf folder, and no
screenshots are
there or in its subsets.

No errors in console with cmd launching.
Nothing.

I noticed in some iterations, it gives me a double player check finished, hence
the
"ccccclean" sound. The sound file is played almost close to each other at
about 0.3
seconds apart.
2009-10-02 01:51:02 - Player check finished.

Can you send me the settings.properties file?
Also can you check your Hacker list cache folder to see if you have an updated
version
of the hacker list?

Yes, here's the settings.properties.
I always click update and make sure it's updated. To assure you, I just did it
just
now.
2009-10-02 02:08:13 - Updating hacker list...
2009-10-02 02:08:14 - Update succeeded.
2009-10-02 02:08:14 - Reloading player list from file:

'C:\Users\Eric\Desktop\BWHFAgent\Hacker list cache\BWHF_hacker_list_cache.txt'
I did not modify the settings.properties file. I just took a peek just now
under
notepad.

So, where is the screenshot folder?
Original comment by ericchan...@gmail.com
on 2 Oct 2009 at 7:12
Nvm. I found it. It's in the starcraft folder looking at the pcx log.
Anyway, it still says "clean" even though clean is unchecked.
Original comment by ericchan...@gmail.com

Starcraft saves screenshots in the Starcraft folder (next to Starcraft.exe).
By default BWHF Agent removes this so you won't trash your Sc folder with lobby
screenshots. You can disable this lobby screenshot deletion.
There is another feature of BWHF Agent: PCX converter. By default it's on, and
it
automatically converts any new PCX file (screenshot) detected in the Starcraft
folder.
You can also disable this if u whish so.

Were you able to load your custom list?
One hint: player checker only alerts for players reported with the same gateway
that
you set on your autoscan tab.
For example if you add yourself to your custom list with USEast gateway:
0,my_name
You have to set USEast on the autoscan tab to be alerted.
It would be easier if we could chat. Do you have a gmail account?
Original comment by icz...@gmail.com

I don't have a key. Is this what the issue is for the program to screen in the
lobby
properly?
I can't set my autoscan tab because I have no key.
Original comment by ericchan...@gmail.com

U don't need a key to use the player checker.
You do not have to enable reporting, but u have to change the gateway to the
one you
want players detected. You can do that without a key.
Original comment by icz...@gmail.com

Yes, I was able to load my custom list successfully.
Yes, I added my self that way with: 0, <my bnet name>
I have no key, and I set it to USEast.
Original comment by ericchan...@gmail.com

Still does not work and says, "clean", even though the say clean feature is
unchecked.
How do I contact you? I don't want to post my full gmail here.
Original comment by ericchan...@gmail.com
on 2 Oct 2009 at 7:31
and I don't understand, if it's not check marked, how is the program supposed
to know
it's supposed to check USEast when I have no authorization key?
That could be the problem.

not
difficult. I fed you everything you need to know.
I kinda don't like how gchat saves e-mails since this is sensitive info.
Original comment by ericchan...@gmail.com

BWHF Agent reads the gateway set on the autoscan tab whether you have a key or
not,
whether you have reporting hackers enabled or not. It needs to decide what
realms of
hackers to alert for.
If you added yourself to a custom list, be sure u dont use space after comma.
For
example:
0,Dakota_Fanning
And in this case (0 for USEast) you have to set USEast gateway on the autoscan
tab.
If the player checker echoes Dakota_Fanning as a recognized player name, it
should
immediatelly alert for him.

Ok, so I did have a space in my name for the custom hackers list. However, the
program
still says "clean".
Now, for the first time ever, it is detecting. BUT, why is it still saying
"clean" in
addition to "possible hacker"?
The box is unchecked.
Original comment by ericchan...@gmail.com
on 2 Oct 2009 at 7:57
Is it because the program is checking the primary list first and then reading
my custom
list second? That would make sense.
Anyway, I guess the lesson here is. I know it is in bold.
Maybe you need to provide a wizard that says which server you play on when bwhf
opens
for the first time ever.
Original comment by ericchan...@gmail.com
on 2 Oct 2009 at 8:00
However, it still doesn't make any sense why it says "clean". I unchecked the
box.
Original comment by ericchan...@gmail.com
on 2 Oct 2009 at 8:00
U can check it back.
If someone from the hacker list is detected or from your custom list, "clean"
is NOT
said. I believe you have 2 BWHF Agent's running or somehting. Close them, check
running
processes (javaw.exe). Or reboot your windows. Does that help?
Original comment by icz...@gmail.com
on 2 Oct 2009 at 8:04
Ok.
1. Ended the java process. Decided to change the clean.wav file to a
different
sound.
2. I reloaded the program again.
Now it's working accordingly. :D
All right. Again, take my suggestion to create a wizard and be sure to direct
to it
on first startup.
Yes, I know it's in bold, but it was very unclear to me why it wouldn't work in
the
first place.
Thank you for your patience!
