Problems with tmux > detaching or killing session

Hello, I'm facing the following issue related to tmux: To detach (or kill) a single session I must hit CTRL+b d (or CTRL+b x) twice.

After SSH into a server tmux is either starting a new session or attaching an existing session. There's only 1 session running:

❯ tmux ls
0: 1 windows (created Fri Feb 23 09:50:04 2024) (attached)

Normally I hit CTRL+b d once to detach this session. However, I must hit it twice. Then I can see this in console indicating tmux is running double:

 127 ❯ ssh hdb3-c3
[detached (from session 0)]
[detached (from session 0)]

This is only reproducible if I start SSH to target server. If I'm already connected to target server and run source .bashrc tmux works as expected.

Can you please advise how to troubleshoot this issue?
