We've got a response from Sanger now, so we can automate the login process. We'll need a configuration setup so we can pass in better into -- actually, this will be better than the excessive environment variables.

You can get the data downloaded in multiple ways and one of them is by using
wget,
1) wget --save-cookies cookies.txt --post-data 'email=foo&password=bar'
https://cancer.sanger.ac.uk/cosmic/login
2) wget --load-cookies cookies.txt -p "http://path/to/file
