If you need any kind of information just let me know

This is an connection problem. Are you getting this permanently or just intermittently? It might be the Viessmann servers that have availability problems or your ISP connection in general

hi hans,

since the 0.100 upgrade I am also experiencing these issues.

When restarting HA it is solved, the Vicare app works fine, so it is not linked to Viessmann...

giacomofabbri commented 5 years ago

Since 0.100 update I’m getting a lot of error as well, the connection to my ISP and also to the boiler it’s fine so I think it’s something related to the component! Let me know if I need to do some kind of debug

oischinger commented 5 years ago

Well the error is definitely a network issue but we could improve the way we deal with that error. Maybe catching the exception would already help. I'll look into it.

oischinger commented 4 years ago

Exception handling for server errors during updates was introduced and is part of the current HA releases
