In IE8 the 'new appointment' button doesn't work when viewing an appointment #24

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to an appointment overview.
2. Open the Pleft menu.
3. Choose New appointment.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: go to the homepage. Instead: refresh the current page.

Please use labels and text to provide additional information.
Happens in IE8 and in IE9 with 'IE8 browser mode'.
