calendar feature - sort out tasks and responsibilities #403

this is a big task (complex). first step would be to sort through what's already there (many threads in slack) and to break the issue down into smaller tasks.

Right now it is unclear to me (Sonja) who does already work on what.

I'm using this issue to document where conversations are already happening:

closing this issue for now, as it is out of scope for the project website update-2023. can be re-opened once a designated calendar/event dev team forms.
