New blog post does not appear as a new story in "recent data stories" on homepage #201

Added / updated a blog post and posted to the site: did not appear on the homepage as a recent data story. Does this not update here? If so, it should.

@roll perhaps check the helpers for getting the featured stories, to see if there is a filter in place there
