[update] Improving last PR #96

@rgrp I have made all changes you have suggested in the previous PR. You don't need to accept this one. just did this in case it was an emergency to have things working properly online.

If you think it can wait, feel free to deny this PR and I will propose another PR next week or so, when more stuff gets ready.

NOTE: index.html hasn't been included in this PR nor in the commit because you said it would be wise to discuss the index page

@gsilvapt great - note again that it would be good to have a more descriptive summary (as it means i have that summary when I merge). For example I wrote:

[misc][m]: largely formatting etc to follow up last PR (e.g. no line breaks in paragraphs).
