Top menu options - Research #392

Overview

OS: mac

When the ODE opens, the user will see 5 options at the top menu: Open Data Editor, File, Edit, View and Help. I would like to introduce a couple of changes within each category but first we need to understand what can and cannot be customized. In addition, I checked this on mac so it would be good to see the possibilities in other operating systems .

One more comment for Mac users. We have ODE at the top menu, then, upper right corner and in the in the centre It's a lot. We should at least remove ODE from the grey area

In ubuntu I don't see a navigation menu, I only see a dropdown menu when I right click:
