The default setup configurations shows a misplaced searchbox in the sidedbar #29

When using the default configuration, the search box of the sidebar is outside of it (see screenshot). It would be nice a proper fix for that :-) captura de pantalla de 2013-05-07 10 27 48

The placeholder cannot be read, because the colors and style are set up for the top nav bar.

You can suppress that by configuring your own sidebar contents see e.g.

https://github.com/dataprotocols/dataprotocols/blob/master/source/conf.py#L112

I suggest going just with globaltoc for the time being.

Yep, I fixed it like that, but it took me a while to understand it :-) (there should be a hint in the README about this issue).
