Make it possible to enter a year as a date #15

For doing timelines for historical objects / people sometimes only years are available for creation / birth dates. These are currently handled as 1st January 2am of that year - need a better way of handling these kind of dates

WONTFIX. This works sort of and not clear what would be the better approach exactly (just show 2001?).
