Add an extra option in TimeMapper to set the initial zoom level. I believe that TimelineJS has this feature therefore you could just hook into the start_zoom_adjust config value.

Having just looked at the API, it would also be nice for it to be more configurable in general. Setting the heading font for example.

@stuartmanderson i think the best way here is probably to give full access to all of the config stuff we store - simplest option would be to allow people to edit the json directly (though that is a bit hairy).

If you are interested in hacking on this let me know and I can provide pointers!

I would like to change the config for the map. I have a successful tile server setup but changing the hard coded mapUrl in view.map.js doesn't do anything. Pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I'd also like to be able to alter the config, specifically to:

make the map's default view be Australia
make the timeline's default view be 1990 to the present Also (preferably!) I want the timeline to be able to zoom in further, because I'm trying to display travelling exhibitions that stay in each venue for two or three months Pointers, yes please.
