Suggestions for configuration

I'd like to make suggestions for configuration, so it would be simple for non-coders to tweak Timemapper:

• include search box (boolean) - btw I have only problems with search box, it scrambles whole timeline app...
• background color for application ?
• font selection, font size ?
• map type (map, satellite)
• map url (for user-created maps)

For timeline.js latest:

• number of timeline tracks (1-6)
• timeline tags - categories - used for track names (1-6)

• If background colors are easy, please do it, because someone will have to redesign complete site that timemapper does not stand out from all the rest :)
• Map layers - I got it, thanks!
• Map url is related to my request for routing services. My idea was: if it is not so easy to implement routing service with javascript (from locations in spreadsheet), maybe it would be possible to let user load it's own map with routes... but it's probably stupid idea.
• Btw, I finally found javascript sdk on mapquest site - please excuse my ignorance, I've never used mapquest before... Routing service can be accessed from javascript! http://developer.mapquest.com/web/documentation/sdk/javascript/v7.0/api/MQA.Directions.html, http://www.mapquestapi.com/directions/#advancedrouting
• With timeline tags I mean tags in timeline.js (latest version), so entries can be divided in up to 6 categories - http://timeline.verite.co/#faq-21 (What are tags?)
• With number of tracks I mean that user can decide number of tracks (rows) in timeline (currently only 3 is possible), I think that timeline.js let you choose from 1 to 6... Thanks again for your support!

• Re background colors I'm not sure i understand - do you mean background colors for the timeline or the map - when you do embed you only get timeline + map

otherwise your application is really perfect, thanks! I also liked idea of issue #73https://github.com/okfn/timemapper/issues/73 to factor out core javascript file, so we can use it in our projects easily. great idea!
