Hebrew Vowel Points don't line up #257

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create Hebrew cards in Quizlet using SIL Hebrew driver from
http://www.sbl-site.org/educational/BiblicalFonts_SBLHebrew.aspx (Mac OS)
2. Import cards into Android AnyMemo App

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The vowel points should line up directly underneath consonants in very specific
locations. Instead they are consistently shifted to the left.

What is the AnyMemo version (E.g 8.999.1, 9.0, 9.1.1)?
10.2.1

What is your Android phone model?
HTC Evo 4g

What is your Android version?
2.3.5

This is a limitation on Android 2.x to display RTL languages.
You can try to go to "Misc" and disable "Use 3rd-party Arabic Engine" to see
if it helps. If it doesn't, probably there is nothing I can do. If you upgraded
your phone to Android 4.2 and higher, the issue should resolve itself.
