hey pedro thanks for the help last week with dead ssrs 2019 instance. I managed to restart the server only after re-install but my second ssrs instance came back by only fixing the 0 NUL or empty config files.

Dude, thank you for posting this. Working a consulting gig that has this very issue and I was running out of ideas. Glad to see you are doing well. Long way from BSW, lol!!
