The phone is a LG Optimus Me P350 if that makes any difference, and I've tried
also running the original toggleheadset and that would result in the headphone
icon on my status bar going away, but still no sound would come out of the
speaker. Thanks.

Sorry I wish I had ideas but I don't. Any chance you are a software developer
or want to be one? I could tell you the things to look for with the debugger.

Thanks for reply, but no I'm not a software developer so I'd be pretty lost
trying to look for things in the debugger. Do you have any other suggestions
for a fix on my issue though? I've looked around online a good bit and all the
forums say this is the solution for phones that are stuck in headphone mode.
I'm 99% percent sure it's a hardware issue since I've restored it to factory
settings multiple times and I'm still not able to hear anything through the
phone speaker, and the headphone icon still appears. Problem is though it's not
under warranty since I bought it from eBay. Any suggestions on a fix though?
and once again thanks.

I agree it's almost certainly a hardware problem. The only thing I can think
of would be to look into the headphone jack to see if it looks like something
might be shorting out between the pins and making the device believe headphones
are being installed. That's probably a long shot. I'll let you know if I
think of anything else.
