Map Idea(s)

Sudden onslaught of ideas:

*  Not sure how the drones "got here", but if there is sort of a large "drone 
mothership" maybe we could revive the old "crashed space station" thing with a 
crashed "drone mothership."  I think a good chunk of why that idea never got 
off the ground was that we had no clear definition of what the space station 
was.  I think using the drone "theme" we could easily make something both 
interesting and... *gasp* canon.

*  Revive the crashed space station for realz and just make a space station.

*  Tweak the space station idea and utilize the recent cruiser wrecks and make 
something like a "cruiser scrapyard."  Something like, a bunch of cruisers 
either in space or in high-altitude were attacked by drones and crashed at this 
spot, and they conveniently fell in "strategic" and "tactical" positions.  I'm 
imagining something paintball-esque in that the player would have to control 
places well.  The crashed cruisers would of course not be reclaimable and able 
to take a lot of hits, and we could really try and make them not be high enough 
for plane-clipping, although if there is some that's above that point we can 
just hope it doesn't happen often.  I like this idea the most and think we 
could do a lot with it.  Make a bright and colorful/interesting map without 
relying solely on the texturemap.  Of course, kind of like the city map.

*  Sudden idea:  combine the city and scrapyard idea?  Maybe do that to flesh 
out the other side of the current city map WiP.

What we have basically agreed upon is that the Drones came to Earth to harvest 
it because they ran out of other sources to harvest. Then we realized that they 
harvest the meteors and not the earth itself. So I am not really sure what the 
whole plan is.

Darn these boondock internets...

It's not like they came to earth with express purpose. Just dumb "luck". Not 
that this has too much to do with the map he's talking about.
