Working with heat cloud gave me an idea:

Large, faint green glow pulses from drone factories as units are made?  Sounds 
cool and easy to do.  Sort of a "what comes out of the oven?" type of thing.

I can't easily make what I see in my mind, and I'm not feeling it, so I'll work 
on this later... more pressing things beckon.
