WiFi not connecting #6

I've tried with two different RPis 3B+ and one RPi 4 – the WiFi isn't connecting to my network. The Hotspot is also not starting.

It does see the available networks but when adding one, nothing happens after entering the password. The green LED flashes for a few seconds and then nothing.

I also have a Norns Shield and it connects to the WiFi without any problems.

Any troubleshooting advice?

Update: I've connected to the Pi via ethernet and tried expanding the disk. It gave me an error: "There was an error running option A1 Expand Filesystem". Flashed another SD-card but it's also giving this error.

It can't write any files on the SD-card either. That explains at least why the WiFi wasn't connecting: it cannot write the wpa_supplicant file.

Update 2: Fixed by doing the resizing manually via the command-line as per https://github.com/okyeron/fates/blob/master/install/norns/Norns_disk_image_install.md#expand-filesystem Closing this, hopefully it will help others.

Thanks you so much, @okyeron! I've built the Neotrellis grid and used your laser cutter designs, everything works great. Top notch work! 🙇
