Wikidata: current status

As a starting point for our code, we have to know the current status of wikidata. For this purpose, we would like to know the following parameters:

• coverage of event series based on proceedings
• coverage of event series based on events
• how many proceedings
• how many events
• how many event series

• how many academic conferences(Q2020153): 8851 Try it
  • academic conferences with "part of the series" (P179) tag: 7844 Try it
  • coverage: ~88.6%

Note that the completeness of an event series might be way lower that the coverage, since many entries do not even exist in Wikidata, e.g. https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q27722889 has at least 25 conferences, from which only 3 are linked, ~13 exist on Wikidata - and they might even have different classification (e.g. https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q54018097 is a literary work (Q7725634), while the majority of the other entries are proceedings )
